Last month, Microsoft shipped .NET 7, the new iteration of its next-gen software development platform. Previous Redakt versions already supported .NET 7, but now, with the release of version 1.3.1, Redakt CMS assemblies multi-target both the current long-term support (LTS) .NET 6 and the latest standard-term support (STS) .NET 7 platform versions.
In upcoming Redakt CMS versions, we expect to include optimizations specifically for .NET 7. A lot of work has been done on Blazor, which is a technology that is used heavily by the Redakt back-office application.
The new Redakt CMS packages are available now on NuGet. Check out the release notes for all the changes included in the Redakt v1.3.1 release.
